First Time Home Buyers Plan
A qualifying home buyer can withdraw up to $25,000 from their RRSP, and up to $50,000 for couples, for the downpayment on thier home.
To be eligible, this home must be purchased with the intent to occupy it, and you must be buying it as a first time buyer. If you have participated in the program previously, it may be possible to participate again, provided that the entire amount has been repaid to the RRSP, and a certain amount of time has passed.
